Pouring Into Our Legacy: Accepting the Challenge Howard University Alumni Club of Atlanta Biannual Scholarship Fundraising Campaign "Pouring Into Our Legacy: Accepting the Challenge"!

​The Howard University Alumni Club of Atlanta has officially launched our fundraising campaign. Our goal is to provide 25 book scholarships of $500 each and 25 named scholarships of $3,000 each, with a two-year commitment. Named Scholarship donor commitments represent a tax-deductible contribution of $6,000 to be paid to the HUACA over two years ($3,000 by March 23, 2025 and $3,000 by March 30, 2026). If you were a 2024 donor, only the 2025 date/amount noted above applies. We greatly appreciate any contribution towards our $60,000 fundraising goal, as every donation helps support our students' success.  Any donation is greatly appreciated.

As a part of our campaign we will have Dr. Greg Carr, Professor of Afro-American Studies at our beloved Alma Mater, for a Fireside Chat with Dr. Greg Carr. This event will take place on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from (TBA) at (TBA). The Fireside Chat is free with a donation to our 2025 Scholarship Fundraiser.

 

Our Atlanta metro students have been touched by our college fairs, bus trips, mentoring, scholarship, and advocacy; and they attest to the indelible mark we have made on their pursuit for a Howard University education. Imagine the impact that your contribution will make on these students.

• Proven Financial Assistance – In 2024 alone, HUACA awarded over $50,000 in scholarships to deserving students.

We encourage all donors to check to see if your company with their employer’s HR or philanthropy department to see if their company offers matching gifts. You can also check the section “See if your company will match your donation”. Every dollar makes a difference, and with your help, we can reach our $70,000 fundraising goal and continue Pouring Into Our Legacy.
